Today is the season premiere of #AnimalsHBO AND the day we fully wrapped production. (Here we are at the sound mix for 310 twenty minutes ago.)
There’s something magical about animation. It’s never really… exists. It’s like having a fever dream with fifty other people and you’re all on a deadline to bring it to life.
This season was so much fun to make and it’s because of our whole team; designers, boarders, edit, production, animation, comp, Canada, The Farm, etc etc. And of course HBO for letting us ~truly~ do whatever we want for thirty episodes.
It’s our best season and a very good show. I am a fan. If anything it’s a thirty-minute respite from the hellscape.
Tonight, 11:30pm on HBO.
